Armenia, Georgia Prime Ministers Hold Talks on Ties
The meeting, which took place during Pashinyan's official visit to Tbilisi, covered a broad range of regional issues, with both leaders stressing the critical importance of sustained efforts to preserve peace and stability across the region, according to a statement from the Armenian prime minister's office.
Trade and economic cooperation also featured prominently on the agenda, with Pashinyan and Kobakhidze agreeing on the need to consistently broaden and deepen economic ties between Yerevan and Tbilisi.
Central to those discussions was the forthcoming 15th meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation between Armenia and Georgia — a key institutional mechanism for advancing cross-border collaboration.
"The parties expressed confidence that it would give new impetus to strengthening bilateral cooperation in various areas," the statement said.
The summit signals both capitals' commitment to reinforcing a partnership that carries growing strategic weight amid shifting regional dynamics in the South Caucasus.
