Norway Reveals Supporting Denmark Against Drone Threats
(MENAFN) Norway has announced that it will aid Denmark in addressing possible drone-related risks during important European gatherings in Copenhagen, according to the Norwegian Defense Ministry on Tuesday.
"The Norwegian Government has decided to provide Danish authorities with assistance in dealing with possible drone threats during the high-level meetings taking place in Denmark this week," the ministry declared in an official statement.
This decision follows a formal request from Danish officials and comes just before two significant events: an EU heads-of-state summit scheduled for Wednesday and a European Political Community (EPC) meeting set for Thursday.
"The assignment means that Norwegian materiel and personnel will support the Danish Armed Forces in safeguarding security in connection with these meetings," the statement further explained.
